Still, you need to make sure that it will have priority over anywthing else. A few broadcasts or some file sharing might kill the quality of the signal.
I know that one of netgears routers (very cheap) supports part of the 802.11e VoIP traffic priortization, but that probably isn;t an option.

Then again, how busy is your network on a regular basis and what kind of line do you have?
Also, what kind of rotuer/equipment do you use?
I could just tell you to "f$*& it" and plug it in, that is, if you won't hold me responsible

For all i know, your network could be pegged at 90% utilization
