Vonage here I come! (Almost)

I want to sign up for Vonage. Rather than buy the retail package and hassle with rebates and all that fun stuff, I thought I would sign up on their web page.

I heard there was a referral discount where both the referrer and the referee get a credit for one month's free service. Anyone willing to refer me?

THE FIRST PERSON WHO WILL REFER ME WILL GET A PM.

Also, has anyone tried Vonage, not been happy with it, and cancelled prior to the 14 days? How did that work out?

I'm signing up for Vonage first thing on Tuesday (I need the office fax machine to send my "Number Transfer Form"). Before doing so, I wanted to get a referral from someone so we can each get a free month. PM me so we can arrange it.

Looking forward to saving some $$$. 😀

if you do order, just know that faxing will have some issues.
also, make sure you keep original box, manuals etc.... or they'll charge you a fee of 39.99+tax for the equipment.

who's your isp?

Just remember to give your address to the 911 operator if you need to call them. You are no longer "visible" to them, so if you can't speak, you'll be SOL.

i believe you can register on their website for e-911 type purposes

i've been thinking of trying Packet8 but i've never used VOIP before. Vonage is about $10 more a months than Packet8 is there any reason why it would be better?

You have PM. And yes. sometimes you can keep your number.

Ok no newsletter....you sniped that one. :|

😀

I am learning from the pro 🙂 The referral deal save a nice chunk o' monthly bill 🙂

I wish they would just give as a referral link rather than have to input the email address on their site.
