Vonage Adapter Before or After ?

Is your Vonage Adapter before your router. Or using a port in the router ?

My Linksys Vonage adapter is behind my router.

I now use it as my primary and only router. Only 3 computers on the network so it has enough slots. When I tried to use the other router with the vonage router it was not working properly.

I have the old style Motorola Vonage box (not the new Linksys routers with Vonage built in) and mine sits behind my Dlink router. I tried putting it in front of the router but the box kept dropping the connection, so all my other machines would lose Net access. It works great now, but I can't do QOS. 🙁

It's behind my router, but you have to open a few ports.

Mine is hooked into a port on my Belkin router (125HSM .. same as Linksys speedbooster) but I also have the adapter, not the router combo.
