Picked up the new Von Bondies album with not too much anticipation for it, figuring it was just over-hyped, etc. (first album of theirs was ehhhh) but actually it's pretty damn good. It's produced really good (c/o guitarist dude from talking heads), and there are a lot of good songs on it. The only songs I don't really like are the ones where the chick sings lead... and well, she has no vocal inflection whatsoever as opposed to the normal lead singer, who sings his ass off.
But yeah, I figured I'd throw a heads up that a good album actually came out, so go download it or buy it or whatever because it's not just hype and its definately worth checking out.
