So this morning, I head downstairs to the grocery store to get a pack of smokes.
In the corner I see, yeah... vomit. (This isn't the first time.)
Well, my e-mail to the "representative" in our building explains the rest. BTW she lives in the same building.
If you really want to see it...
edit:
We're done with this place.
The elevator has been problematic since we moved in (July).
It's gotten signifcantly worse. This month so far (as of March 10th) it has been out of service at least 3 times (for ~12 hours each time).
I called the property manager and complained, telling her we wanted out of the lease.
She called back today indicating that if I can provide a note from my cardiologist (heart problem) that prevents me from using the stairs semi-routinely, the LLC will allow us to break the lease.
It's total BS that I have to provide anything, but if it works, who cares.
Now it's time to go apartment hunting...

Jane (not her real name),
I hate to bother you but there is a matter to which I think I need to bring to your attention.
I attempted to notify their "sister company" first, by walking across the street to their sales office.
I spoke to (let's call her Patty) and our conversation went something like this:
Me: "Hello. I'm a resident at the xxx. There is vomit in the elevator. It has been there since this morning and it is disgusting and a health hazard."
Patty: "Did you call Jane?"
Me: "Uhhh...No. I'm bringing it to your attention..."
Patty: "Well, I'm not her secretary so you'll need to call her."
Please see attachment. Evidently someone put a sign to help maintenance locate it.
Thanks,
cherrytwist
