Volvo makes.......an SUV!!!???

Well what about that Porsche SUV? It was in an old Motor Trend article I think from last year.

-edit- OK pulpp, we gotta do something about this. Are you following me? hahaha
 
The porsche suv is the cayenne and the azztek revisted is called the vibe I do believe. Its hard to tell from the pic, so far I'd say its kinda homely though. They say it will perform off-road so I'll keep an open mind, although they don't specifically mention types of suspension or 4wd systems....

The Pontiac Vibe actually looks pretty good.
 
suv's are just 4wd station wagons. station wagons died so companies gave them 4wd and called them suvs. i think most suvs are suck.
 
I challenge you to take a 4wd or 6wd station wagon and follow my suv 🙂

The vibe is an improvement, I'll give them that 😀
 
Uhh ... where have you peeps been, Volvo has had an SUV for some time now, it's called the Cross Country. Very nice ride, IMHO. In fact, probably my favorite out of all the ones I've driven. + : Superbly crafted, esp. the interior
- : A turbo 4 is top engine available, needs a bit more oomph.


As for that Volvo prototype linked by NFS4 .... bleeeck ! :disgust:

The cross country is NOT an SUV. It's nothing more than a Station Wagon with increased ground clearance, just like the Subaru Legacy outback.
 
I've driven all kinsa volvo's(Dad used to work for volvo) and the only one i liked was the 850 T5-R 😀 the rest sucked 🙂 well the C70 w/turbo was OK but the T5-R was the best.

Guess some people define SUV's differently then. They're all derivatives, excepting of course the original - the JEEP.

One of the old AMC Eagle 4wd Station wagons can probably out due half of the new SUV being sold. I have always wanted one of those ugly ass things 🙂.
