Okay dont know what the deal is but for some reason my mp3's will not play at full volume now. Im using winamp v2.76 which i just updated thinking that it would fix the problem. Dont know what the deal is cause they used to play at full volume and I didnt change anything. I have a sounblaster live value.
forgot to add that the volume control setting for wave/direct sound is all the way up. All other sounds are really loud now cause my speakers are up so loud.

Thanks
Drew

put Master to about 3/4 way up..

And put Wave Out to all the way up.. Thus only mp3s and waves play so loud.. not midi.. CD.. aux.. so on

I mute everything other than Master, Wave and CD.. to get rid of much *hissing* as possible.

As for Winamp, put the Preamp level up under Equalizer and save that setting as 'default' This will play all mp3s with higher output rate.
