Some stuff is either too low or too loud. Anything good in the app store?

Anything extra like virtual surround and such not too worried about but would be okay.

lots of equalizer apps out there, many have a compression function which is what you're looking for.

i used volume+ previously (needs root) and always worked well for me

IMO since jellybean most of them don't work anymore. My Asus Memo HD 7" had horrid low sound and nothing helped it. I got rid of it and got the Tab Pro 8.4 and have not needed a booster on it.

Really for me it's just certain stations on Tunein plus using GPS like Waze. Some stations are fine and others are too low.

Same with some YT videos too....
