Volume Issue

So I'm jamming to mp3s on my work comp, and it just seems I can't get it loud enough! I've got the audio thingies all the way up, and winamp cranked all the way up and it just seems like it should get a whole heck of alot louder. Where else should I check?

Speaker settings. Headphones vs 2.1 or something?
