Hey. I was wondering if you guys knew of a program that lets you boost the volume of the music playing from winamp. You see, i have a wireless headphone and i've figured out that if I set the volume of the headphones to a minimized level, while having the volume sliders on the computer to a high level, the whizzing from the headset will be reduced.

Problem is that the volume sliders on the computer (the play-control volume slider and the wave/directsound volume slider on the volume panel in windows) aren't giving me 'nuff sound. It's still too low, even at the max.

So, do you guys know of a program that can help me with this issue ?

Is that normal for wireless headphones? I would assume that they should work fine under normal conditions.

Depending on your sound card you could try and play with it's hardware EQ settings to get a little more volume, or even get the sound to the point where it reduces the 'whizzing' sound. If your audio card doesn't have a hardware EQ, winamp has one built in. It also has a preamp slider, but beware as this can cause distortion quite easily.

Hope that helps!
