I just installed a hardware monitor...

It has in red text (caution) that my Core voltage is +1.79V

Is this bad?

also my other voltages are:
+12V = +11.95V
+5V = +5.08V
I/O = +3.31V

Also... how do i change my AGP voltage? (i don't see an option for this in BIOS, and i have to change it to fix a video card problem in my PC)

thanks

Any ideas? Is my core voltage really off or is my testing program just being weird?

Also, the agp voltage question :p

thanks

It would help if you gave us some frame of reference by disclosing what processor and motherboard you have. Its kinda hard to know if 1.79v is really out-of-whack when you don't know what 'whack' is.

Woohoo! Now we're getting somewhere. :p

The nominal core voltage of all Athlon 4 model processors between 900MHz and 1400MHz is 1.75 with a maximum voltage of 1.85. So 1.79v is right in the proper range with an acceptable margin of error.

As for your AGP voltage, I cannot say how to adjust it on your motherboard, it may not permit you to adjust the AGP voltage.

ok thank you very much :D

i hope there's a way to change that AGP voltage :/ if it's not in the BIOS, i definetly can't do it?
