Hi, I'm looking at the motherboard monitor program right now and the Voltage +12.00 is showing up as 0.61V

Is that ok or is there something SERIOUSLY wrong?

And another question

I'm getting a 9600 pro, and I have a 300 watt power supply. Is that good enough or do I need more?

I had some strange readings via Asus Probe and I realized that if they were in fact right, then I probably would not have been reading them at all but the computer would have just shut down. I'm completely sure exactly what the +12 volts is for but I bet you need it to be up and running. What program is giving you the readings?

reboot your computer, and check in the BIOS to see if the temperature is ok. if it is, you have nothing to be worried about.

as for the power supply question, what other compoents do you have in your computer? (list all your components - cpu, drives, etc)

The reading is probably wrong. If it was 0.61V you wouldn't be able to boot up to even check the voltage. What brand PSU?

if you have a generic 300w, i would definitely suggest upgrading at least to a 350w name brand. psu is something you dont want to be skimping on.

If the entire case with power supply costs only $46.00 then the power supply is not a good power supply. I'm not saying it won't work or last, just that it can't be a really good power supply for that kind of money. There a lot of good power supplies out there that don't cost a lot of money but you won't get them with a case for that kind of price.
