Hi!

How high can I raise the voltage for my Celeron 533 (not A)?

It's default 2.0 V and I've raised it to 2.2V without any problem, but how high can I raise without taking any risks?
2.3?
2.4?
2.5?
2.6?
2.7?
2.8?
2.9?

I have a gigabyte GA BX2000 motherboard (slot 1) and a slocket adapter that allows me to change the voltage by 0.1V-steps.

If you have good cooing you can take it .1v higher. I don't recommend it since your voltage is already high enough. What speed have you gotten it up to?

I've reached 75MHz FSB (600 MHz CPU)...

I'd like to get it upto 666 MHz, 83MHz FSB, but I can't get it to boot any further than into DOS-mode (running Win98). After that it starts to recover the registry.

Any suggestions what to do to get it to 83 FSB?

OK, I know that PPGA 533 is not as overclockable as a FCPGA 533A, but what the heck it can't be impossible - or?

Most people using the older Celerons do not opt for anything greater than 2.2V. I used 2.3V on my 300A, but the gain in MHz was not worth it. So 2.3V should be considered the limit, and only then if you have good cooling.
