Voltage settings for K6 II 450??

DrFatal,
I believe it is 2.0v. What is the model number of thr board that you are using? Here is a link to DFI's download page for the manual for model number PV3B.

I guess the link just takes you to their site.

I thought the k6-2 450's were either 2.2 (newer ones) or 2.4v (older ones). Look on the CPU itself to see.

Vcc values are all over the map with K6-2's. As chemwiz noted, look on the top of your CPU for the correct values. They're stamped there.

Not the right time for belief ...

Look what it says on the chip. K6-2/450 were made in many subtly different flavors that all look and act the same - but the core voltage requirement may be anywhere from 1.9V to 2.4V.

Regards, Peter
