voltage ripples as high as 46% !!!???!!!

So, I just did another stability test on my RAM using OCCT and got some intersting voltage readings. The system passed but I got some high percentage rippling.

vcore
12v
3.3v

I've swapped out my Infiniti 650w to a Liberty 500w What is this a sign of or is everything fine?

I'm thinking its the Mobo

Get rid of that PSU. I dont think its board.

OMG your 12V rail dipped below to 9.4V.

So far I have 3 PSU's a Liberty 500w, Infiniti 650w & a Infiniti 720w the first one gave me those readings. I had some funny readings through Hardware Monitor using the 650w, that's why i tried the 500w. Last is the 720w if that gives me the same, ... what brand should I go with? I've stuck with Enermax for the pats 7-8yrs...

Its definitely a PSU problem. Your lucky (I mean it) to have your other components alive (maybe you should check if they aren't damaged due to very bad voltage fluctuations).

Maybe its time to go buy a new PSU, something like the Corsair HX1000.

I think all 3 are giving these type of results. OCCT has a built in monitoring program and I think its the same as HWmonitor. I can run HWmonitor by its self and see these type of fluctuations.

EDIT: I may try another board first. I had stable readings with my Asus P5K-E mobo on my 500w

I am not 100% sure its the PSU maybe just maybe its your MB.

I think i see the 12V and Vcore dancing. What i mean is that the ripple is quite a lot on your 12v and Vcore. 1.7 is tooo much try a multi PSU link up. This test will supply all the MB and CPU energy and readings from one PSU and HD, etc from other.

Re do ur test with EVERYTHING AT DEFAULT and if the result is ok the MB is damaged/ PSU has low power handling capablity or if you get the same result still your MB is damaged.

corsair is my first recomendation.

there pretty good.

I personally use PCnC. I tend to overshoot my psu's, and i tend to get monster ones.

currently testing at stock cpu speed, volts on auto everything with 720w

There isnt a better person on the WEB then jonny when it comes to psu's.
