Voltage Regulation

my three monitors flicker like you're waving magnets around them in a perfect rhythym... and plugging and unplugging appliances in my room seems to make no difference. I think when pepople in other apartments run appliances, it affects me. Would a voltage regulator

A nice UPS would help.

make sure it has AVR, automatic voltage regulation. My 1000VA APC unit does, but there are some more advanced AVR technologies out there.

I'm not sure how that $20 device can regulate the voltage without some sort of capacatence or battery intervention. A UPS would be more ideal imo; get at least a 500VA UPS, prefereably 1000VA like me😛
