I'm overclocking a 3200+ on a DFI SLI-DR mobo and I can't figure out what voltage I'm running at. I set in the BIOS 1.4 * 113% (1.582V) and that's what it reads in the bios. When I boot into windows CPU-z and NVmonitor reports 1.53V. Who should I trust?

I would trust the monitor. Often times motherboards start to undervolt CPUs on load. My AS8 is no exception (almost .12v under on load :disgust: ) My K8N neo2 undervolted only slightly at .05v (1.35 vs 1.40)

Well most boards do undervolt from what is set so I wouldn't be surpirsed if the 1.53v is closer to the real voltage. When you load it does the vcore jump up a bit??? Like .01-.02v???

I set 1.5v and 5.0% and that should be 1.575v but it reads in all apps in windows as 1.52v idle and under heavy 100% load I may see a 1.536v....

usually the BIOS is *not* the most accurate....but is this making a difference? 1.55 is at the 'pushing it' mark for 90nm chips IMHO.

Yea it all depends on the FETs they use. Eventhough I had alot of problems on my K8N I have to give it alot of credit. It has had the most stable vcore out of any board I have ever used.

IMHO anything within .05v is very acceptable.
