my sound card fried cuz there was a piece of metal on it, and now my -12v is reading -25v in the bios when i start up and -0.7v using motherboard monitor or pc probe. it posts alright if i choose ignore the -12v in the bios and everything else in windows works. but this much of a disparity doesn't seem that good. i tried a new power supply and still get the same readings. then i tried pulling out everything except the hard drive, video card and memory but nothing changed. do i need to get a new motherboard?
also, what does the -12v supply?
thanks
