I notice that if I set the bios to 1.6v and it is added to about the .11 or .12v the asus board is delivering with the power booster jumper enabled on the board that I can boot into fine and even run processor for 8 hours stable, but if I restart the board will give an error has been found in hardware monitor...press f1 or del...etc...
1.6v bios boosted to 1.71-1.72v @ 138fsb = 2.484ghz = stable (but get error) 48c load
1.575v bios boosted to 1.69.170v @ 136fsb = 2.5ghz = stable (no error)
Is there a automatic protection enabled when bios detects voltage over 1.7v??? Can this be disabled???
