Voltage Levels for Athalon thunderbird?

Hello All,

I'm putting together an MSI K7T pro2-A and a thunderbird 850. How do I know what to set the voltage levels to? Do the new processors/mother boards set this up automaticaly? If not, then how do you know that the system will even come up?

My CPU was OEM, with no manual or anything....

Thanks!

Default voltage for an 850 is 1.75 volts. That board should detect it (I have the same board and processor) You can set it to default in the bios under Voltages and Frequencies menu. Or you can do it manually.
