Voltage difference btween thes 3 Mobile chips

Anyone know the voltages of these 3 pentium mobile chips?


1. Pentium Celeron 500 mhz
2. Pentium 3 600 mhz
3. Pentium 3 700 mhz


I ask because my laptop keeps shutting off periodically (yes, I checked all obvious power settings) and have upgraded the chip twice up to the p3 700 mobile. I am suspecting the system mey be overheating but cant really tell. Is there a good heat monitoring prog i could use?

it depends on the stepping of the 700.
some run at 1.6 V (Maximum Performance mode) and 1.35 V (Battery Optimized mode) while others run 1.35 V (Maximum Performance mode) and 1.10 V (Battery Optimized mode).
