This is probably not the hardest question in the boards

I'm planning to overclock my Duron 650 MHz(factory locked).
I know about the L1 bridges for multiplieroverclocking, but
do you have to connect any bridges on it before you can up the voltage??

no! increasing the voltage is a purely m/board thing & doesn't require cpu to be multiplier locked or unlocked.

You can connect some of the L7 bridges to defualt a certain voltage. But you don't really need to.

However, if you are stuck with a motherboard that not allow for voltage adjustments, 1.85v can be attained by connecting all the L7 bridges.
