In overclocking of ASUS P5W-DH I somehow managed to fry my RAM.
Which settings can do that?
Here is what I had set:
CPU FREQ: 400
DRAM FREQ: 800 (I cant get it to go any faster for some reason)
Performance: Standard
MEM Voltage: 2.35V (was at 2.4 for some time)
CPU VCORE: 1.575V
FSB Term: 1.4V
MCH: 1.65V
ICH : Auto
Memory:
SPD OFF
CAS: 4
RAS: 4
RAS CAS: 4
Precharge: 10
Recovery: 4
HyperPath: Disabled
DRAM throttling: Disabed
MEM Remap: Disabled
My processor is C2D E6600
Memory is Mushkin Redline 8000
I just got my new memory back, and I dont want to fry this set too... what should I do?
Set DRAM voltage to Auto? and SPD to ON? Should I also lower MCH V? (that will most likely force me to lower my FSB)...
Thanks!
