Hi there. Basically I am having a issue trying to get my clocks higher. As of now they are maxed at 648/1620/900, And the temps are in the mid 50's at load. So I know my card can handle a bit more juice on the core and mem, just need some help getting it done. Because of a work accident my handss are too unstable to do any kind of soldering so I am left with finding some kind of other way to increase the volts on my GPU. I have heard people say that using Nbitor would flash new speeds but not change any volts. So what is a guy to do?? The pencil mod seems rather sloopy in my opinion, maybe I am wrong on that. But there has to be some way to increase the volts. ATI has it built into a program called Rabit, So how is that Nvidia does not have a volt increase software. I understand that it is a risky operation no matter which way you do it. But there is a guy on Overclock.net that has managed to volt-mod using a pencil a 8600GT, and has it performing better in 3DMark06 than a 8800GTS So after playing the beta for Crysis I am sure the DX10 version is going to bring my 8800GTS to it's knees. So I am on a quest to get the volts a little higher to help with performance. Please any and all advice is welcome. Thanx
