It's pretty fruity looking, but such is appropriate for VW's future. The new bug, the sillyness of the phaeton, etc. This all fits.

I agree Roger that this is uglier than crap. I do like the concept of a highly configurable microbus though for camping etc. If it werent so ugly

 

Hot VW's had a pic of one with the Westy option (Pop top), still ugly as all hell.

I think it's cool looking.

From the front it looks kind of like a 1950's cab over semi, which I also think are neat.

There is NO WAY the Element is uglier than the Aztek. There are quite a few Elements around here, and they are not NEARLY as ugly as an Asstek when seen in person.. especially if the person gets a good color scheme.
