Has anyone used the Thermaltake Volcano III HS with the 4500rpm, 22cfm fan?
I was previously using HSF that came with my boxed PIII 866.
After installing the Volcano III the cpu temperature is one degree Celsius cooler.
Are these idle temperatures OK?
CPU 30 deg C
System 30 deg C
Room Temp 21 deg C
I haven't found an article here about the Volcano III. I checked a few other places but had no luck. The Thermaltake homepage gives the specs but what I was really looking for was a good comparison with other HSF.
I figured Tom's Hardware might have something about the Volcano III but for the last two days I have been unable to load their homepage.
It looks like the site being hit with denial of service attack.
Anyway does anyone know how the Volcano III stacks up to the competitors?
