Volcano II & overclocking

Someone a while back said that the ThermalTake Volcano II HSF was decent/good for overclocking. I plan on overclocking my 1.2 t-bird to 1.3 or 1.4... will this HSF suffice? It has been questioned as to how good it really is. I know that nobody can exactly predict whether it will work or not on a specific system, but overall, does it do a good job?

My 2 cents....It will work fine for duron stuff but spend the extra cash and do a search on this forums...I had the VOL II running 1ghz Athlon in mid-tower cas.. my temp was 49c..got
Zalman 5000 + Copper HS/Delta fan ...temp droped to 41c....

I have been using Volcano II (2) w/ ASUS a7a266 and MSI K7 Turbo:
1) Running Tbirb 1Ghz, 1.2 GHz, 1.3 GHz , It's hotter than nornal (40+) but it still performed OK. However when 1.4 GHz was used overheating occurred (mother board had high pitched sound and one red light lid).
2) I have not tried the new generation of HSF (w/coppper or copper/aluminum base) as suggested by Lilscooter, however I have been able to run 1.4 GHz (very stable) w/ one side opened on the casing which suggested that more circulating air would help stabilizing the overheat problem. By the way this is the cheapest way to get it running comparing to geeting a better HSF.

Well, this appears to definitely be a "depends on the user" issue, so I'll guess I'll overclock as far as I can go, and when I can't get any further, I'll stop.
