I bought a Volcano 9 with a smart fan. I took the fan off of the cpu and need to put it back on. Who has this fan and which way does it function best sucking air through the heatsink or blowing it thru?

I believe this HS comes with and would work best with the fan blowing the air down onto the HS. I am not sure if that is what you meant or not SKORPI0.

The Volcano 9 in one word: sucks. It needs to be at full speed to just to cool efficiently, which is very loud. A Vantec Aeroflow is way better. But if you want to keep that, make sure the label on the fan is faced down, that is the way the air flows.
 
I had an ALPHA 6030 with a Delta and thought I would give the TT a try. I may hate it and switch but thought I would give it a shot.
