Volcano 7+: Any better alternative for P4 (quite desired)

Is there a better alternaitve for <$50 then this Heatsink?
I want to clock a P4 2.26 at maybe 2.6 or 2.7

I like the idea of temperature monitoring.

You van get a 7+ for $31 shipped. Just looked it up at Pricewatch.com and that was the lowwest. But you can get one shipped between $31-36 all day long. Should have mine on Monday

The Alpha 8942 cane be had for $35.00 plus shipping from Heatsink Factory - slightly more ($47.00) with a quality 80 mm fan.

I use the Volcano 7+, and while it is a good (and versitile) cooler, I don;t think it's the best sub $50.00 heatsink.

trust me when i say... thermalright ax-478... temps 28-32c idle with an 80mm Panaflo High (quiet) i have a volcano 7+ and while it does an... average... job of cooling its wayyyyyy too loud even on low setting COMPARED to my setup. AND i get cooler temps. so make ur own decision BUT remember, when u stand before the ALMIGHTY u cannot say u were not told... :Q
