RE:"At this rate, soon it will be "Call across the street...FREE!""

I guess a penny a minute is just too much for some people...

I was actually one who paid the 5 euros for 'unlimited' free landline calling to what now appears to be a very shortened list at VOIPbuster. Yea, VOIPstunt... 6 months later they will open up another site called VOIPscrewers.com. Good luck to this 'company'.

If it isn't free it isn't any good?

Jeeze, tell the phone company, mortgage company and your local McDonalds that. See what you get.

5 euros is 500 minutes in the US etc. What's that..like 6 dollars...

If you can't afford that ...

i dunno how bad it is... was using voipbuster b4.. and now voipstunt.... give me nice clear voice.. little lag calling to singapore or malaysia...... it is 1c/min..... cheapest anywhere... including local phonecards......

?5 was wasted ?? come on.... i bet the McD you ate last week was even more wasted than this....... digested... turning into "u know wat" ....... sewered.....

people who thinks there are always free lunch going around .... they must be kids..... from the first day i signed up for any voip services.. i know the free calling will be gone sooner or later.... my 5? lasted me long enough and way pasted its 5? value... and even when it charged .. it's still has a good price.....

yeah.... anyway... before anyone wanna make the next "it ain't gonna be free next time" comment... think about it first.... neither voipbuster or voipstunt guarantee till-the-end-of-world free calling in the first place

jjsole, I just used it a few hours ago to call my roomate's cellphone while he was waiting for the call upstairs. Like you said, the quality was excpetional, but we kept cutting each other off due to some serious delay. I havnt changed any settings at all and our internet speeds are excellent according to dslreports. Could it be a router setting? Also, I looked everywhere to check if there was a way I could receive calls from other phones at no avail. Skype, in contrast, advertises this feature right on their front page, so I am gonna give them a try instead.

I just got an email from voipbuster:

Dear xxxxx,

VoipBuster credit is valid for 180 days.
Your credit will expire in February.
We advise you to use your credit before it expires and/or buy new credit* so your current credit will not expire.

* buying new credit is only possible if you have a small credit left on your account.

Kind regards,
VoipBuster Customer Services

What a ripoff.

It was never stated that the credit lasted only 180 days. Good thing the place I use this service for is still listed as free.

I know it doesn't say that anywhere, but that's what they emailed me, verbatim. I didn't even email them about it, so I wonder if it's an email they're sending out to everyone?

Either way, it doesn't look good.

they shuld really write there on their website regarding the 180 days expiry.... i was always thinking that my credit will last...

on the other hand..... i can definitely afford to use up ?5 in 6 months....

Well, I do use it enough to no worry about 180 days. I just recharged another 10 euros. That will be gone in a month.
