So I got my sunrocket all set up & running.........(forwarded my current phone # over 'til it ports).........and I'm stuck at the moment.

Do I let the phone's answering machine (that I've been using for years) get it?? (we can screen solicitors & stuff 'cuz you get to hear 'em before you decide to pick it up or not)

Or should I start using sunrocket's voicemail 'cuz it's kinda' neat & you can track stuff online, retrieve away from home, etc.??

Poll maybe???

So far so good. There are some minor differences. Slight delay vs. a regular land line, but I honestly think the voice quality is better than what I thought it was gonna be.

Today is day 1, so I'll definitely have to wait & see how things go. They'll have to show me a good month or so of consistent service for me to be sold on VOIP.

First vote is old-school answering machine..........figures!

I have SR and had the same question.

I use the answering machine (built into the phone) simply outta laziness.

I use SRs voicemail because it emails me when I have a message so I know to check it. Coudl have it text message, email a notification, or email an MP3 of the actual message.
