voice tone altering (like the one's the radio stations use)

Are there any consumer level products that will allow for altering your voice simular to the ones that the radio stations use? You know, the real deep, real cool type of voice? I want to record a new professional sounding message for my office phone.

Get someone to kick you in the nuts for a high pitched voice and for a low voice pretend that you are Michael Clarke Duncan. That should do just fine.

I don't think that will work 🙁

Oh it will. Just give it a shot 🙂

some better wave editing programs will do it, like SoundForge or CoolEdit. Just record your message and shift the pitch down an octave.
