Have a older used computer Im selling for some cash, lady would like a voice modem in it. I need help here, either two options.
1) Recommend me a good fairly inexpensive modem with voice, that is ready to go out of the box...as in I dont have to buy ANTYHING else to get going.
2) I have a Ambient technologies modem (Intel based) that is a voice/data/fax modem. I have spare mic laying around no problem...but on the back I have a SPK port on the modem...Im assuming I need a jumper cable to go from the speaker port on the modem, to a speaker port on the soundcard which is a Sounblaster Live. So where can I get this "jumper" cable, and which port do I plug into on the soundcard? God its been too long since Ive worked with a voice modem. Oh btw, I found my box for the ambient technology modem, doesnt mention jack about hooking the voice part up. So any info would be appreciated either way.
