Voice modem hardware/software...anyone?

Hey all,
I've been Googling myself to death trying to find some solid information for what I'm trying to do with not much luck.
Basically all I want to do is play a greeting such as 'your call may be monitored...' at the beginning of a phone call. Other features such as caller ID/call recording would be nice.
I've struggled with a Conexant modem & Win Xp but finally trashed that damn thing lol.
So my question is what is a decent voice modem chipset that isn't too expensive, and what is some good software?
Like I said I've been struggling with this so any input is MUCH APPRECIATED!
TIA

Ok here is what I found googling. There is a company that specializes in this kind of stuff (http://www.voicecallcentral.com). Looking alittle deeper I managed to find more info on what you need by looking at their system requirenments (http://www.voicecallcentral.com/sysreq.htm). There is a nifty gaget that connects to your USB (http://www.voicecallcentral.com/way2call.htm) and would do all the required things on the hardware side.

I hope that helps alittle. At least this can be a jump off point. Good luck.

Thanx for the link. Unfortunately that is high end software and they reccomend an $800 tekophony board to work with it. I have Symantec talkworks and there is other software I've looked at...the problem is with the modem though, especially with the lack of voice support in XP.
Anyone know of a good (inexpensive) voice modem that will do what I want in Win XP?

This is the most definitive info I've found so far:
http://www.ivrsoft.com/voice-modems.htm

Damn this should be so simple! I could almost get by with some sort of audio adapter, I've found cords for recording calls but not playing sounds into the phone. A modem would also give caller ID & more versatility though.
Sheesh hasn't anyone ever had to play a sound into a phone line before? There's really not much about it around the web.
Anyone?
TIA
