Voice messaging software for XP? Talkworks 3.0 not working...

I was previously using Symantec Talkworks 3.0 under Windows 2000, even though Win2k is not officially support by Talkworks 3.0. Unfortunately, it does not seem to work properly under Windows XP Pro...

Symantec has stopped producing and updating the Talkworks software line. Is anyone else out there still using Talkworks 3.0 and has got it working in XP? I keep getting a message saying "the feature you have selected is not available in this Basic Edition" and that I need to upgrade to Talkworks Pro (thats what I'm using). I can't seem to enable Automatic receive in the controller either.

If anyone has got TW3.0 working under XP I'd like to hear how.
Otherwise I'm looking for suggestions for a new voice messaging software, hopefully one that is a little more up to date than TW3.0 that I can try under XP.

Thanks.

Did you upgrade to WinXP from Win2K? If so, did it mention any incompatibilities? I know most of the Symantec products had to be updated for WinXP.

Sounds like you might be SOL.

I installed XP clean, then tried to install Talkworks afterwards.

I'm not sure why Symantec decided to stop selling Talkworks, it was a great product.

Looks like I will have to look for a new one. XP has everything else built in, why not a voice messaging system? 🙂
