Voice lessons in college?

Check out your local community college. I took singing classes there. Cheaper, less homework and stress, tends to be much more laid back, encouraging, and less competative. More friendly and fun overall.

Awesome...how did it work out? Did you enjoy it? Anything you like or hate?

I enjoyed both the classes I took. Small classes, fairly age-diverse. Had to put up with listening to some very tone-deaf singers sometimes, but overall it was cool.

I would look around the music school, if you have one, as students/grads/whatever always offer lessons, since they need money to support themselves. If nothing else, find one of the vocal profs and ask for suggestions on where to start.
