Vodka is so good!

I agree...if only I didn't have to work in the morning. I'd join you.

I donated a bottle of Chopin to my friends' housewarming party last week...I regret that now.

I have school at 8:30... just a small drink, couple shots' worth. I'll sleep it off and I had plenty of water and food earlier.

I'm a Vodka man myself. I drink SKKY usually, with the ocassional Grey Goose (YUM!).

My favorite Vodka drinks:

Cranberry Juice + Vodka

OJ + Vodka (of course)

Tonic + Lime + Vodka

Red Bull + Vodka

Vodka is nothing more than lightly flavored EtOH... whiskey is where its at, but lately ive gotten a taste for good scotch (single barrel). I guess its b/c im starting to get away from the "club scene" and appreciate a "good drink" as opposed to sugar-flavored ethanol.

Man if my Undergrad-self (Keystone 4-life) could hear me now...

Can't beat a good Jack Daniels Single Barrel. 😀

Although no 80-proof collection would be complete without it, vodka to me is overrated distilled engine fuel. But don't mind me, this is coming from someone who can't tell the difference between Sh!t and Shinola -- oops sorry -- Smirnoff and Stolichnaya. 😛

chopin and grey goose are both good in my book. I dont drink vodka usually but those are the only ones that dont make me sick like absolute or ... the dreaded smirnoff.

I got a story about that....

A few years ago my g/f's sister was in high-school (senior) and I was visiting my g/f at her parents hose before i went home for spring break. Anyway here sis is all like "can you buy me some vodka for me and my friends" Now her sister handed us the money ($20) thinking that we would spend $19.95 on the vodak 1/5th, instead we got ther the Aristokrat ($9.95 for a .5gal) and poketed the rest for some Arbys. The look on her face was priceless, the whole mood changed when she reached in the paper bag and felt plastic. she pulled it out and her friends were like "wtf". We were "dropping it off" and jetted out of there. The next day (we spent the night at a friends place) we came back to the g/f's place and saw her sister nurseing what had to be a massive hangover (she had sunglasses on in the diningroom on an overcast day) all she said was "you know that wasn't cool ... the aristokrat... every drink...i thought..i thought i was going to die". To this day (she is well over the legal age now) I am permanently barred from buying her booze (as my g/f pinned it on me as being "my idea", i figured i woudla done it anyways so i accepted the blame).

thanks aristokrat.

lol 🙂

Seriously though. I get sick when I drink the ?cheap stuff?. Almost any type of alcohol. If I have 5 shots of smirnoff, I?ll get sick. If I have 5 shots of grey goose, I am good for another 5, and I don?t get hung over headache the next day. Beer included. I can?t drink bud or coors or whatever. After 2 I get a wicked headache. But I can have 10 pints of guiness easily. Also I noticed that tap beers don?t effect me as badly as bottled or even worse, cans. I can drink a few buds from tap but the bottles give me a headache.

I thought I was just being a snob but other people I have talked to have noticed similar trends. Price is not always indicitive though. There are a few cheapo beers that I am fine with. Yingling is one. Cans still mess my head tho but I?m fine with the bottles.
