vob to avi

I need a program that will take .VOB files and turn them into AVI or MPEG files....and it needs to be free, or have a trial that only limits my time, not how much of what i can do.

any help is greatly appreciated

Dr DivX is easy to use and there is a free trial.

Regular GK for me, more options. Also, many report audio skew problems with the automatic version.
