I have a dvd with a 2 minute clip on it in vob format, I want to edit the very end of that clip (cut off the credits) and then if possible have that 2 min clip repeat to fill a dvd-r ...

This is for my wife, she does craft shows and has a promo dvd of her product yet the credits roll for almost as long as the video, so she wants it editied to just the promo and then repeated if possible,

I realize on a dvd player you can just hit repeat play, so the repeat part isnt totally neccesary, but i would like to edit that main video to cut credits off if possible...

I do have programs like decryptor and shrink and a burner, and nero with vcd and dvd authoring in them and do understand the process of duplication yet have never wanted to edit a dvd's vob file...

Any suggestions on what program I can do this with?

I dont know off the top of my head, but I don't think you can edit vob files directly - you might have to encode them to mpeg format, edit that, and then burn the dvd. Anyways, check out doom9.org, they have lots of good info there.
