vnf4 ultra + bios v5 = disaster?

installed bios v5 and nvidia gfx card driver, after restart noticed boot time went from 6 secs to 1min and 30 secs. noticed ram was in 2t mode so switched it to 1t and pc wouldnt power on. just 2.5 second beeps every 5 secs. after disconnecting hardware one by one beeping stopped when i uninstalled vid card. finally cleared the cmos with the jumper and got it back running. so im guessing the issue is the bios, which version should i use? cpu is winnie

went back to v3 and everything seems to be running smooth ;-)

Just run whatever bios works. You should only update your bios if you're having a problem that you think the bios will fix or if you want a better OC.

anybody remember how to fix the problem with onboard lan? internet jus likes freezes when i try to download something. i have to disable lan then enable it for it to act right again
