VNF-250 question

I have two sticks of Pc 4200 that react the same with both or either one installed.

I am somewhere between 240-250 with PC 4200. The memory should be capable of more...but it looks like the limiting factor here.

Has anyone got into windows above 250??

At the moment I an upto 225x9, totally stable on my vnf3-250. I will go for 250+ this weekend and let you know...

Hey BB,

I did some OC'ing lastnight; this is with 2x512 OCZ 3700EB dimms...


250x8 = totally stable

260x8 = boots into XP just fine but crashes with 3dmark

I did not do much to try and get 260x8 running stable as I was too busy playing farcry!

Will post more results later...

512MB OCZ PC4400 EL GOld - 275Mhz stable. (1 stick only with 2 doesn't work at 1:1 at all).

I am trying my second set of Hardcorecooling ram since I have found that to be the issue. If the second batch doesn't work. I am going for the Adata on newegg.com
