VNC Troubles

I think this is the right place.

Anyways...I've installed the VNC Server on my windows box, as well as set up an account with a password so that I can log in to the main account. I have a VNC client installed on my linux box, so I can connect with rdesktop 192.168.0.102. The problem I'm having is that after I remote login to the server, the user who's on that computer gets kicked off. I'm free to browse and do things, but once the user logs back in, I get kicked off.

Is there a way to avoid this?

eh.....

VNC is a 3rd party remote access program

rdesktop is a linux Remote Destkop (terminal server) client, the server runs the Remote Desktop program

are you using VNC, or RDP?

I'm a big newbie when it comes to remote access. All I know is that I setup the VNC Server on the win box, and connect to it using rdesktop on my linux box.
