Which option do you all think is most secure, going from an XP system to a Win2k system.

I think there is a "lite" version of VNC that is made to run on older machines. You may want to try that.
True. It's very expensive since you not only need a Citrix license, but a Terminal Services CAL from Microsoft as well for every computer that connects.... The main reasons I prefer it is because: 1.-I don't have to pay for it....2.-It's very fast.....3.-It provides 128 bit encryption......4.-High resolutions.....5.-SoundCitrix = BIG $$$, but some of its management and deployment functions cannot be found in any other product.

I just looked into that. I had trouble finding a lite vnc. I did find a tightvnc, which is the same speed or possibly a bit slower...![]()
No argument there pal...Originally posted by: Scarpozzi

As does Terminal Services, subject to the following caveat:Originally posted by: Scarpozzi

From MS KnowledgeBaseWhen you install the 128-bit High Encryption pack and use high encryption on a Windows 2000 Terminal Services computer, all of the information that is passed from the client to the server in a Terminal Services session is not encrypted.
