VNC quesiton about logging into a remote computer that is locked (Ctrl + Alt + Delete to login).

I'm runnig VNC. How do I log into a remote computer that is locked, ex. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to login. I'm using Windows 98 and every time I try, it brings up the "Close Program" box. Is there an alternate way to login besides Ctrl + Alt + Delete?
