VNC and winME

i just installed VNC on my machine...i just switched back to winME because i was pissed at win2k always screaming at me about memory errors 🙁

but yeah, with winME now, VNC won't accept any connections, and i have no idea why. i would think it's my Zonealarm, but i gave VNC access to connect and it still won't work. i tried turning off zonealarm, and it doesn't work.
bleah.

...so winME isn't as i remember it to be! but it used to work before i switched to win2k and back to winME!
help?
 
Did you format first?

VNC is very touchy with ZoneAlarm. Don't ask me why. In fact ZoneAlarm is great until you need to access something. I tried uninstalling ZoneAlarm and it would still cause problems. Until I did a fresh install.
