vmware question

is it possible to get midi working under dos using vmware 4.05?
i'm desperate to play tyrian once again, and while the video through vmware is surprisingly fast and responsive, the sound does not work...
any ideas?

they changed soundcards in the latest version to some creative stuff, try and look on the vmware site itself they should have drivers or links to drivers posted.

yeah sound works fine in windows, midi included, just not in dos mode or in dos...
maybe if i install vdmsound in windows98....hmm it may just work
