It's a great product from what I understand at work. We get to play with it this summer if everything works out right. A great way to save on hardware when you are doing development of a larger target.

And it's a new company. This investor is na investor, not a speculator so I won't be putting any money into this company.

vmware = great stuff

just so you know...

vmware was bought by EMC (multibillion $$ corporation) in January 2004

looks like it might be a good buy. SuperMicro also filed recently, I'm waiting for that one as well

I'll be installing 5 ESX servers with a Dell/EMC SAN in the next few weeks. ESX3 is definitely a solid product with plenty of features. VMware is really changing the industry because you can have more servers with less space, power and a/c requirements.
