VMware Fusion 2 / Boot Camp question

I just bought a MB Pro 13, which I love, but want to add Windows 7 using bootcamp for playing my low stress Steam favorites. I have VM2 set up with XP, but the gaming stinks. Can I set up Boot Camp with a Win 7 partition and let VM2 access that partition for my Win MS Office programs in Snow Leopard?

Thanks in advance!

I know that VMWare and Parallels let you use your boot camp partitions as VMs, but I am not sure what VM2 is.

You can use Crossover Games for some Steam Valve titles. But, your best, cheapest bet (if you already have a copy of 7) is to use BootCamp.

I do the exact same thing with XP so you should be okay with W7. I'll boot into XP if I actually want to game, and open XP up in VM for other tasks (ex. downloading and installing games on Steam, using IE, etc.)
