VMWare clock randomly & briefly resetting--help!?

When in VMWare, with the time set correctly, VMWare resets each of the children OSs clocks every 30 seconds to a time, some random amount of the official VMware clock. Usually an offset of exactly four hours. The offset is almost always exactlyfour hours slow. Time synchronization is already turned off.

Any ideas?
