VMware and Activesync conflict

VMware's network adapters render my PC invisible on the lan for my PDA, does anyone know how to solve this ? (I'd still like to be able to use bridged networking if possible)

appearently the VMnet bridged protocol gives this conflict, because when I disable it activesync works fine, it's just well, impossible to share the network with any VM's anyone know any solutions ?
